Looks like you're having a great time...keep it up. Yesterday I took advantage of the opportunity of being in San Diego and went to the beach (of course). I surfed some small Big Rock waves and then relaxed (napped) on the beach waiting for my buddy Raul. I almost killed him with an olympic swim from La Jolla Shores to the Cove. We saw several 4 foot long leopard sharks, some sting rays, and our state fish, the garibaldi. When we got to the cove we needed to rest before exploring the caves. There were a ton of tourists in kayaks who were snorkeling as well. Since we survived the sharks we thought we'd shoot through some tight caves with the tidal push. I cut my hand on the barnacles, Raul however came through unscathed. When we finally got back to the beach, about an hour and a half later, we both were exhausted and even though the sun finally came out it was chilly so we headed home. I heard today he fell right asleep when he got home. I went over to thank the La's for letting Scout out and then visited the Massengales. Tiff wasn't there, she had joined Kiki to the emergency room. The newest Huth had a temperature of 101 degrees so they took her in just to be safe...she's fine, just a little virus. Probably the same one that hit Alex, Grace, and then Justin. I went home to eat, chili, and watched the final Avatar-it was awesome, then headed back over to visit. Tiff and Mike look great, Emma is gorgeous and saying the darnedest thing "cold beer", like they do at a ball game, but imagine it with a southern accent. P Diddy is big, almost as big as Justin-jk. We had fun, but he told Tiff I was a little creepy. I guess he doesn't remember me like I remember him. I fell asleep by midnight and didn't wake up 'til just before church. John Cappelen did a great job of teaching today-Galatians 5:22-23 The Fruit of the Spirit, specifically self control. We can't try to have self control or any of the fruits, but it is more abundant and evident when we spend time with God. I love you and miss you all.-g
Uncle Gary's comment was WAAAAY longer than the blog posting...cool.
Not much going on here. Daddy is off, but he is really tired. Mommy spotted new kittens out back so tonight we are going to see if we can catch some and find good homes for them.
