Baton Rouge Louisiana

We got up and did a little exercise this morning. Poppa went for a run and Grace, Justin, Gramma, and Amy went for a 30 minutes walk. We made it to Baton Rouge this evening. The drive in was miles and miles over bridges and we went over the Mississippi River, which we'll pass over again but up north. It looked pretty dirty to me and had what looked like Casino River boats on the water. The KOA is great with a good pool. Gramma, Amy, Justin, and Grace had races in the pool (which Amy was the ultimate winner!). We're planning out the schedule (for Gramma of course) for tomorrow and it sounds like we have a shorter drive day tomorrow but we don't have a reservation anywhere so it's all up in the air. Check back to see where we end up!

the first time i got in the car to traipse through and around the souths waterways i was amazed by all green and wet just outside my door. the bridges lay right on top of the water. love it. very similar in that respect to amsterdam.

I've never been, but it sounds wonderful. Keep enjoying the different and beautiful scenery, remember, it's pretty brown back here. Love and miss you guys. Nothing exciting happening here, just working. Gary/Dad
